Schedule

Requirements

  1.  Natural persons of legal age and up to 35 years of age inclusive, at the date of the request.
  2.  Have Spanish nationality or legal residence in Spain. 
  3. Be the holder of a housing lease contract in accordance with the LAU, assignment of use or room, or be in a position to sign it.
  4. That the leased property constitutes the habitual and permanent residence.
  5. Have at least one regular source of income that reports annual income, including that of people who have their habitual and permanent residence in the leased or assigned home or to be leased or assigned, whether or not they are the holders of the lease or assignment , equal to or less than 3 times the Public Indicator of Income for Multiple Effects (IPREM). In the event of renting a room, the income of people who have their usual and permanent address in the dwelling will not be included, only that of the natural person who is the tenant will be considered.
    1.  Notwithstanding the foregoing, when two or more young people live in the same dwelling, each of them may be a beneficiary if they meet the following requirements:
      1. That at the time of requesting the aid, none of the people who live in the dwelling are related to the first degree of consanguinity, or else all are not older than 35 years.
      2. That they sign the lease, and their individual income corresponds to an annual income equal to or less than 3 times the IPREM.
  6. Not be the owner or usufructuary of a home in Spain, neither the tenant nor the cohabitants. Exceptions:
    1. Aliquot parts of inheritances 
    2. Unavailability due to separation or divorce
    3. Inaccessibility to it due to disability
    4. Impossibility of occupying it for reasons beyond their control
  7. Not having a first or second degree relationship with the landlord, the tenant or the cohabitants.
  8. Not be a partner or participant of the lessor, neither the tenant nor the cohabitants.
  9. Not being involved in any of the circumstances provided for in art. 13 of the General Subsidies Law.
  10. Not having been subject to revocation of the aid provided for in a Housing Plan.
  11. That the property object of the contract is for an income equal to or less than 600 euros per month, or up to 900 euros, 300 or 450 euros per month if the contract is for a room, in the municipalities of: Alcalá de Henares, Alcobendas, Alcorcón, Algete , Arroyomolinos, Boadilla del Monte, Getafe, Collado Villalba, Coslada, Fuenlabrada, Galapagar, Las Rozas de Madrid, Leganés, Madrid, Majadahonda, Móstoles, Parla, Pinto, Pozuelo de Alarcón, Rivas Vaciamadrid, San Fernando de Henares, San Sebastián de Los Reyes, Torrejón de Ardoz, Torrelodones, Tres Cantos, Valdemoro, Villanueva de la Cañada, Villanueva del Pardillo or Villaviciosa de Odón.

Documents to submit

  1. Request. Press PROCESS to access the processing space where you can find the online form.
  2. Documentation. Those documents that you must provide and the data that the Community of Madrid can consult are indicated.

Documents provided with the application:

  1. The rental agreement.
  2. The collective and historical registration certificate.
  3. Copy of the long-term residence permit or the temporary residence permit, in the case of non-EU foreigners.
  4. Proof of rent payments for the monthly installments due on the date of the aid application. 
  5. Personal income tax return or certificate of attributions from the AEAT and/or other supporting documentation of the annual income for 2021 of tenants and of those of legal age that make up the cohabitation unit, if applicable.
  6. Documentation proving that you have a regular source of income.
  7. If you have been enjoying the Youth Rental Voucher in another Autonomous Community or City, you must provide a certificate issued by the Administration of origin indicating the amounts and monthly payments already recognized. 
  8. Location Note offered by the Index Service of the Property Registry, of owners registered in favor of the applicant and of all the people who have their habitual and permanent address in the leased or assigned home.
  9. If said Location Note indicates that you are the owner of another property, you must provide a Simple Note from the Property Registry referring to it and, where appropriate, documentation proving that you cannot dispose of the home

The Community of Madrid will consult, by electronic means, the data of the following documents, unless you object with reason, in which case you must provide them:

The Community of Madrid will consult, by electronic means, the data of the following documents, if you expressly authorize it. Otherwise, you must provide them:
  1. Personal income tax declaration or certificate of income allocations recorded in the AEAT of all tenants and those of legal age in the cohabitation unit of the last fiscal year with an expired term prior to the submission of the application

Remember that you are responsible for the veracity of the documents you present.

Applications submmission

The processing of this procedure can be done electronically or in person. If you choose electronic filing, you need to have one of the electronic signature systems recognized by the Community of Madrid.

To submit the application, click PROCESS, access the processing space and follow these steps:

  1. Prepare the documentation and/or annexes that you are going to provide with the application.
  2. Click FILL IN and access the online form. If you do not finish completing it, you can recover it later by accessing the locator that will appear on the screen and that you must save.
  3. Select one of these two options:
    1. Electronic submission: Press SEND TO REGISTRATION. On the next screen you can attach the rest of the documents that accompany the application.
    2. In-person presentation: Press DOWNLOAD FORM. You can download the completed form in PDF format and, together with the rest of the documents, present it later in person at the authorized places for it, unless you are forced to interact electronically with the Administration.
  4. In case of face-to-face presentation, remember to ask if it is necessary to request appointment at the registration and citizen service office that interests you.

If you select electronic notification as the means of notification, the processing unit will send you the notifications through the Electronic Notification System of the Community of Madrid. To do this you must have an email address enabled in said service. To sign up, click on the access to the NOTE Service.

Once the request is registered, the service of file situation inquiry from where you can:

  • provide documents and send communications regarding your request and 
  • Check your processing status.
